I put on what cd had the most bass. This way all the others should be within their limits. I set my LP on my HU to 78 and the HP to the highest. THis is how I did it:
1st. Get away from all the angry neighbors and old farts
2nd. Put in the cd that you like the best (or for bass the bassest cd you have)I set all my sub control and bass control in the middle so I have some leway. Turn the cd player up to about where you would listen to it.
3rd Set your input on your amp so that you get clean sound and no clip
4th Set your LP filter all the way up
5th Tune ur bass boost to w/e you want. I have mine all the way up b/c I like alot of bass.
6th Tune ur HU the way that you want it.
