I would just like to note that I was sitting in the upper floors of 7 WTC when the first plane passed just above and to my right side window before it struck the WTC tower behind me.
All I heard was a very sudden wooooosh that was very loud and shook everything around me. It sounded nothing at all like an airplane. There was a very fast moving object that I saw out of the corner of my eye. I immediately whipped around and saw the huge hole in the side of the building next to mine taking up about 4 floors. There was a huge fire, desks, chairs and concrete pouring out and NO PLANE PARTS ANYWHERE. I had no idea what had just happened.
By the time we all got to the lobby of my building to escape, we had front row seats to the second plane hitting the tower over our heads. I saw a gigantic fireball come out of the side of the building and lots of debris but no airplane. At that point everyone panicked and took off because we were less than a block from the falling debris with only a glass wall between us and the stuff that was falling toward us. We still had no idea what was going on, but some people had noted seeing a small plane fly into the building. It must have been moving really really fast.
After running 1/4 mile from the site in the direction that the second plane was flying in (North) I saw no debris anywhere. I saw tons at the WTC site and around my building, but nothing beyond that.
Anyone that denies what happened on that day is a complete moron.

I can't imagine what you have went through, and my heart goes out to you. Now, I believe you are missing the point. From what I read, many believe, that two planes did indeed hit the WTC towers. What is in specatulation is whether they were the flights that were hijacked that day. These "theorist" believe that they were special CIA planes fitted with special ordance that would produce such devestation.
Now I hate America? That is a new one to me.

I really don't understand why there is any doubt at all as to what happened on 9/11/01. The terrorists got on the planes that morning, and flew them into their designated targets.
The theorists you speak of either belong in a straight jacket or are just plain stupid. I think it was probably the chips that have been implanted in their heads, by UFOs on government payroll, that made them come up with such stupid stories.
Oh and to those that say "it sounded like a missile," or whatever; You are correct, it would sound like a missile at the speeds a 757 in a cruise configuration, in an insanly steep descent would be traveling.

Would it be safe to say that alot of families lost alot of loved ones that day because the Government needed something to do? or that Terrorists wanted revenge for whatever we did to them?????
It doesn't matter who did it, what matters is that alot of people died that day for NO reason.......That was an extremely rough day for alot of NY'ers and for tourists
I for one was nervous because i worked for a Natural Gas co.
at the time and they had us on 48 hr emergency shifts because they thought our tanks were going to be targeted.
let alone the gas leaks that were being called in.
No one is going to prove who did what only what HE SAID/SHE SAID THEORIES will be spoken of and with all the computer techs out there how hard would it be to take a video and munipulate it into something you want it to be?
