In (IIRC) Mid-Late 99 they switched over to the returnless setup. My late 99 has the returnless setup.
If its returnless, the FSVT pump will work. If not, I don't think it will.
I beleive the FSVT pump puts out like 255LPH and the stock pump is 155LPH.

is it a direct swap or do you have to do some modification

WHy are you changing it - is it REALLY necessary?
Seems like a lot of your posts are asking question about mods you don't need.

No, I just thought you wanted to do it cos you thought it would net you power or something.
If it's screwed and you have a returnless car, then yeah get the FSVT pump from Bill Jenkins.

If you need anyone to do a fuel pump I know a guy in Grand Rapids. His name is Todd. It's not a direct swap. You have to swap over the sock on the filter. It's all in the FAQ.

less than 1/2 and trouble revving.. sounds like a dirty sock inlet on the lower half of the pump, to me. no need to replace it, just for THAT symptom.
Yank the sock, leave it out.
done.
