Anyone replacing their stockies with forged? well ill pay you for your stock rods because i need a set. I need them to be '01 or newer and ill PM you with my offer. The newer the better.

So you don't want to shell out $1K for rods ... how about less than half that for BRAND NEW stock rods?
V6 rods part number: XS2Z-6200-CA roughly $75/each from Bill Jenkins. Give him a call and have him cross reference this part number to make sure it's still good.

i went on FPO and they are 90 a piece, how do you get $75? if so, then i mihgt have to pay that......DanG was going to give me his for $240 if his shop can get them out soon enough

Signature LM's website is a little strange. If you go to this link, you will see the options to select year/make/model or enter the part directly. If you enter the part directly, the price is $92.67 each. HOWEVER, if you go through the year/make/model and choose 2002 Ford Escape, then from the "Mechanical" tab select "Engine" and then from the submenu select "PISTON ASSEMBLIES, BEARINGS & CRANKSHAFT", connecting rods are the first item on the right hand side. Expand that column and you will see the exact same part number. Retail price is $92.67 and the "our price" is $74.14. Call Bill is all I can say!

I just did an FPO search and they are slightly cheaper than Bill ... you where looking at the "list price" column ... look at the far right hand side ... "cost" is $69.50 ... that being said, I would give Bill the business just because he is a great guy and if you sweet talk him, I'm sure he might match their price vs. loosing the sale

$450+ for 6 rods or $400-700 for an entire 01+ engine???
Hmmm...
I think I wouldn't even bother buying the rods separately at those prices.
