Carol Shelby disagreed with statements like that so he began making "the original" Cobra again. If you like Cobras you should take a look at Shelby Automobiles' web site.

Are you kidding, a man with Carol Shelby's (considerable) ego wouldn't buy anything from his competition!
Shelby has his aluminum Cobra bodies made in a former Soviet block country, just as the Kirkhams do, but they are NOT made by Kirkham. In fact if you check out the Auto Week article â??Poles Apartâ? (featured on Kirkhamâ??s own web site), David Kirkham (himself a man with a substantial ego) mocks Carol Shelby for having his aluminum bodies made in the Czech Republic (I guess Poland is better).
Besides all I said was â??If you like Cobras you should take a look at Shelby Automobiles' web site.â? I wasnâ??t suggesting that Shelbyâ??s Cobra replica was better than Kirkhamâ??s. I will suggest that if you love Cobras you should stop by Shelby Automobilesâ?? shop and museum (at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway) the next time you are in Southern Nevada. And NO, I donâ??t work for the Clark County Convention and Visitors Authority; Shelbyâ??s shop is just a great place for any car enthusiast to visit.

Did you read my reply? Try going to Kirkham's web site and read the Auto Week article that I quoted.

Well, in 2000, they were working together. Kirkham was good enough to be the only "clone" producer to receive Shelby's nod. Yes, there had been bad blood before, and quotes in Autoweek from both sides. But they were putting that aside because the business case just made so much sense. Did they have a falling out?
So, Horse, that's 39,900 for a roller... Still a lot more than an FFR, but I see your point, entirely.
Function before fashion.

Ill be sure to switch up my 'lingo' around you old guys . I know you'all have enough trouble with whipersnappers changing the meanings of words... bad is good, you know what I mean. When I mean to say origional ill instead say 'thats innovative and never done before!'
