Well, here's a view of where the intermediate shafts go. Are there any Quaife owners out there who remember what it looks like installed?

No worries- haven't bought it yet!
It is in excellent condition though, so pending inspection, I will be getting it at a substantially lower cost, too!
ADC will then be getting a call from me shortly thereafter. I just hope the Torsens aren't still on nat'l backorder.

Not true LSD is suppose to lock the the axles going into the diff. case, if the you spin the right wheel forward and the lift wheel spin backward its a open diff. Meaning the the axles are not lock. Because of the extreme force put on the wheel when turning is when the wheel move at different speed and slips. (Hints the name Limit Slip Diff.)

Sorry buddy, but you're 100% wrong. Techinically a Helical differential STILL behaves like an open in this instance, i.e. spin the wheel when both are off the ground. So yes one will spin in the OPPOSITE direction to the other with a Torsen or Quaife.
The torque CONTROL with these diffs only works when both wheels are loded, i.e. touching the ground.
Trust me, I have 6 years of axle engineering experience.

Well seeing as we're talking about and MTX-75 - yes you're completely wrong.

Not if he's talking about the "Phantom Grip". Theoetically the clutch-diff type action WOULD turn the other wheel the same way, if the car was in neutral.
But that's not what we were talking about, and that's a piece of crap anyway, so...
