Sorry buddy, but you're 100% wrong. Techinically a Helical differential STILL behaves like an open in this instance, i.e. spin the wheel when both are off the ground. So yes one will spin in the OPPOSITE direction to the other with a Torsen or Quaife.

The torque CONTROL with these diffs only works when both wheels are loded, i.e. touching the ground.

Trust me, I have 6 years of axle engineering experience.
