It'll take a while on my 56K, so I'll be back when it's done and I listen to it. And I promise to give it a fair chance, can't go into something with an already bad attitude about it, or else you most assuredly won't like it.

I stopped downloading it about halfway through 'cause it was only going at 2KBPS, I'll finish it tomorrow or later tonight if I get a better connection, but I actually have heard that song before, and it is a good one. Excuse my youthful ignorance.

See, us ancient, doddering, one-foot-in-the-grave people sometimes have a point

Always be willing to try new things, even if they sound unpalatable...

I like older music, but not much from the '80's, more so The Beatles, Tom Petty, that sort of stuff. I'm not sure when Pink Floyd was around, but Pink Floyd is awesome, have The Wall on record from it's original release and I love to hook up my surround sound to the record player in my living room and listen to that.

The UK number 1 single on your birthday was:

Adam & The Ants - Stand And Deliver.

Never heard of the song or the group, but "Stand & deliver" is what I'm all about!

Wanna bet? I dont exactly want to reveal my age, but when I was born, Packards and Studebakers were still in production. DeSoto's and Edsels' came after I was hatched. Maybe we need a thread about the oldest CEG'er, but I don't know if anybody will own up to that.

The only good thought of getting old is that all you young'uns are gonna be contributing to my social security, and I'm gonna get mine, even if ya'all don't!

IF! There is no question that we younger generations are getting the root on that one!
