i purchased the richbrook set of e-brake & shifter handles. damn that thing looks soo much better in pictures that in real life. the e-brake doesn't hold tight in place and the handle for the shifter just feels way out of place. perhaps too small for my taste. does anyone have purchased this set? or am i the only one that fell for it? i bought them from www.kustomz.com. their service and shiping speed was great but richbrook sucks. just my 2 centts.

Yeah, I got the richbrook e-brake as well. It's ****e. One of the black bands has already snapped off, and that's just from it sitting unused in my closet while I waited for the weather to get better to install it

Hey guys, I am working on making a custom shift knob and e-brake handle for CEG as we speak...I saw the richbrook pieces and thought the same thing so I am working with my dad on getting us our own accesories. It is gonna take a while though, my dad has to do some research and figure out a cost effective way to produce them, but I'll keep everyone posted Ryan

I only have the shift knob, but I really like it. I like the size and all I wanted was a simple round knob. I couldn't stand the stock one.
I never got the ebrake handle because I was leery of having to drill off the original. I like reversible interior mods.

I bought the knob and don't like it . It is too small for my hand. When I bought the B&M shifter I just used the knob that came with it and in the winter when it gets cold (the shift knob is like grabbing an ice cube) I reinstall the stock knob. The richbrook knob sits in the top drawer of my workbench in the garage. Money not well spent This knob works great for me ------------------ '98 T-Red Contour SVT #2767 of 6535 DOB: 8/97 [This message has been edited by 98RedSVT (edited April 26, 2001).]

Guys, I am thinking I'd have to agree with you. I bought a used Richbrook off someone and was disapointed when it arrived. Just to make sure I got the right thing, it is just a complete sphere that is polished aluminum, right? Is the one that Kurtz pictures the one with the carbon insert? I am hoping I like the one on the B & M better than the Richbrook. At least it'll be here next week.
Thanks, Rick

I have the B&M shift knob (not the shifter..Bumber !). And it's a good knob, just gets like ice in the winter and a branding iron when its hot, especially here in Vegas, its only like 90 degrees right now, but when it hits 115, i'll have "B&M" burned into the palm of my hand!..LOL. I might be getting a new one, from BAT, the RS leather shift knob or the momo race one, not sure yet. The RS one looks like the one so far. If I do and when I do, I'll have the B&M one up for sale if anyone wants it. i'll keep ya posted. Cheers. ------------------ Simon W.
