Yesterday, Chris (AutoSHO) stopped by to help me finish the last few things I needed to make the car start. The biggest obstacle was plumbing the BOV back into the intake, Chris shined in that area and put some hoses and fittings together and got it all to fit.

Under first start, absolutely no oil leaks. That was a major surprise since I just plumbed in an oil remote/bypass filter system AND 'teed' it into and Accusump pre-oiler/surge protector. The car started just fine and boy does it have a distinct Vortech whistle! After a little tuning, and tightening of the belt, my 9psi pulley (on an S-trim) showed about 11-12psi on my T-trim. This things gets up and moves. My exhaust is now a restriction and will be looking to get a custom 3" exhaust soon. Power only stops when I let off the gas and shift... It wants to keep pulling way past 7,500 rpm!

First gear was useless last night when the roads were slick. It would literally just spin them to redline until I let off. With the way the load ratings looks, I'm hitting about 135% load (at altitude) showing that peak torque is at about 7,200 rpm.

Next is a larger exhaust, water injection, and a 12psi pulley (which will actually give me about 14-15psi)!

The green SHO in the video belongs to Terry and he just started his up with a new blower last week. It has a 3.2 liter motor in it now and a 3" exhaust. He's got a few more mods coming too!

Here are some videos, enjoy!
