I put in a gauge cluster w/ tach, to replace my non tach gauge. I hooked up a wire to the ECU pin 53, or something like that; the white wire w/ the black stripe in the 3rd row. I used one of those blue snap connectors, and connected it with a length of 16 gauge wire into the instrument cluster. I just pushed it through so the wire was sticking out, since there is no pins for it, where pin 8 is. I hooked everything back into place, and the tach won't work. I have no more ideas, I tried for hours.
