Thanks everyone who posted a reply on this topic. Sounds like everyone is pretty happy with it. I am amazed at some of the prices that you all got yours done for. Last year a place that I called wanted $250 bucks. That is a tad high. I will have to keep searching. Thanks again.

I haven't ever even gotten looked at by the cops in my contour. before this car i owned a bright yellow 1977 cadilac sedan deville with no window tint but yellow plad seats and lots of chrome. i got checked out by every cop and hoodrat i saw. never pulled over (bad brakes = no speeding) but i got followed sometimes. i think with our cars being relatively new bodystyles, and 4 door, we have a bit less to worry about than say a bright yellow hood yacht or than a newer racier looking car (not that our car's are racy) like a cougar or a celica. I'm gonna get 30% mirror on the back and rear sides and probably like 70% on the front doors all the way down even though i'm in michigan. My mom's full sized van came with something like this.

Tint COMPLETES the look on a car. You can do all you want but if them windows are clear I can not stand it but thats just my opinion. :-) I have 5% limo tint on the doors and rear and a nice silver strip on the front and I love it. I also own a Rodeo with pretty much blacked out windows(20% wrapped over stain glass) and I've never been pulled over for it. Its usuallly an additional something they pick on if your say...speeding. But you usually will not be pulled over FOR having illegal tint. But then again if hes a dummy pig roll the fronts down! LOL

Now that I'm say this, I will. Knock, Knock.

I've had 20% all arounbd on my 99 F150 which I got in Feb 99, tint a couple weeks later. Just got the SVT tinted 35% all around. Never been pulled over in the truck. Both myself and my wife have been pulled over in the SVT for other things and neither time has the tint been a question. In fact, when I was pulled over, I just had the tint done and my window switches were taped off. I told the officer that I couldn't lower the windows so I could open the door.
