I removed the res, droned, hated it, when revved under no load sounded liek a 2-stroke, it was bad, a $15 glasspack from meijer worked much better and sounds great, ask anyone who's heard my exhaust.

Gah, these threads I know from experience straight pipe sounds like asz. No idea about a glasspack, though. I still wouldn't recommend that, either.

Actually the glasspack isn't that bad. I know Allen (y2kmodeosvt) has it in his exhaust and it doesn't rasp... atleast I have never heard it rasp. Since it looks like I will be getting an exhaust later and later due to finances, I may just get a glasspack for the time being.

Eddie, check out Paul's SVT he replaced the res and it sounds awesome. It has the same sound (exhaust note) with an increase in volume. The Magnaflow is a very popular res, send a PM to Stazi he sells them.

I have a glasspack too, the same set up as Allen (Y2KMondeoSVT). I don't think it sounds bad at all. It's not raspy.
