! But the check is in the mail for $4,079.00 and I still keep the car. So I have thought it over and I am going to a least fix the damage and then decide to paint the whole car or just the fender, hood and door. My car is black and the salvage parts are too so If I do not want any $ in repaint it should look ok. Parts are going to be about $500 so I will have $3579.00 left for paint or ???
It hard to believe they would total a low mileage V6 Contour SE that just needs a door, fender, windshield, minor bodywork on the rear quarter and paint??
Then turn around and give me $4,079 for it?? Does suck to now have a salvage/rebuilt title for such minor repairs.
