Has anyone here ever talked about putting mud flaps behind the front wheels? I have absolutely no idea how they'd mount, but I'm tired of the mud streaks down the side of my car.

Ford makes them, but for Contours w/o the side skirts. You'd have to modify the mud flap to make em fit. They're made of a hard molded plastic, not the floppy stuff with Yosimite Sam on em.
I have em on my car, they do a pretty good job considering I have 7.5" wide wheels.

hey i just went to my ford dealer yesterday and picked up my CONTOUR (they say contour on them) mudflaps, They are the flappy ones but they look alright.
I plan to remove them for everyday driving, i only got them to decrease massive gravel slinging while autocrossing. (I plan to tap the holes before installing)

I just bought the cheapest black rubber ones from auto part stores, and screw them on tight with a drill. ------------------ AirKnight (Dominic Ho) Buffalo, NY

Yeah I also have the floppy mud flaps that say contour on them. The hard ones are usually on the rear. Mine are just drilled right into the molding. They do help and actually look pretty sharp in my opinion.

Thanks for the help. Does anyone have a part number for the flaps, or should I just go to Ford parts and ask for "the floppy mud flaps that have Contour printed on them"?
