EXCUSE ME,,,BUT I DON'T THINK MY EXHAUST IS SLOPPY LOOKING AND NEITHER DOES ANYBODY ELSE HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I THINK YOU NEED TO USE BETTER CHOICES OF WORDS THERE NEXT TIME!!!!!!
YEAH,,,,YOUR SUGGESTION MAY LOOK NICE ON THE CONTOURS,,BUT,,,DON'T GO AROUND SAYING THAT THE WAY SOMEBODY MODIFIES THIER CARS IS SLOPPY!!!
WE ARE PROUD OF WHAT WE DO TO OUR OWN CARS,,,I'M HAPPY WITH MINE AND IT SEEMS THAT SOME OTHERS LIKE MINE TOO!!!!
I'M SORRY FOR SOUNDING LIKE THIS BUT I THINK THAT YOUR COMMENT WAS RUDE TO OTHERS WHEN THEY ARE TRYING TO MAKE THIER CARS LOOK NICE.

This is to apologize for my earlier comment to ContoursT about his exhaust. My choice of words was not well thought out and for that I apologize. Just like Eric L said, there are some people who butcher their bumpers and THAT is the kind of mod I dislike. But I did say your exhaust looked awesome, and I do not think that it was sloppy... I have tried to do body work on a car and my no means is it easy... so I give you thumbs up man.... and to anyone else who likes the cut out bumper bottom look, go for it... I was just trying to give alternatives to those who havent done the dual exhaust mod yet.....

HEY CONTOURST! lay off of the caps, please. his apology was sarcastic, and not everybody on this board is "nice". if he doesn't like your job, he doesn't have to think it looks good. if you think it looks good, who cares?

to all my fellow Contour owners, My purpose on this board is not to fight... if I wanted to try to prove how tough I was I would have gone to the WWF forums board instead. It is not my intention to piss ANYBODY off because I dont know you all personally and that is not my intention and I am truly sorry if I have hurt anybody's feelings... okay, so now that is out of the way..... CONTOURST, I own a 98 Contour SE Sport ATX in toreador red. I hope to have some pics up soon. I got the car last summer and since then have put in white faced gauges from an SVT, replaced the indicator plate on the tranny with a leather shift boot, and installed a Camaro top loading shift knob to replace the T-handle. I also added four Pioneer 3 way speakers to the doors and installed a Pioneer head unit with 12 disc changer. I am planning way more mods for this car in the future, but for now, it is certainly a pleasure to drive and a pleasure to give and recieve suggestions from all you guys....

You know,,,,that is the problem in this world,,nobody is " nice ", too often!!!
The situation is over and you are trying to start a new one in which you are entirely not worth it, to speak of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please,,,end of discussion....

CONTOURST, My future mods include eliminating the stock airbox for a Tru-Rev Sport induction kit, dual Borla exhaust, Eibach springs and Bilstein shocks, MAYBE some 16 or 17 inch rims, a manual tranny, installing an a-pillar to accomodate aftermarket gauges, rear discs, and possibly getting my interior done in leather. It will all go gradually, as I am a low and poor college student (lol), but I am looking forward to working on this car. I have another discussion about the shifter mod going on, so I took some pics of that today... hopefully will be on the board within the week...
