We'll i finally recieved the y-pipe i ordered a MONTH ago(w/o converter). Jason, from Tru Bendz told me i wouldnt need gaskets or bolts with the pipe. LIAR! Also the inlet on one side has a big piece of metal sticking out that ill have to grind down, after i go to the parts store and hope they have a gasket. Luckly this isnt my daily driver. The hopes of breaking the 14 second barrier keeps me going.

? why do i need them?

i need the gasket for the rear of the pipe. where it connects to the cat back. and bolts for that as well. only because mine both broke when loosening.

am i the azz? do i not need a gasket for the rear? i havent actually pulled the old pipe off yet.

the old pipe will have a gasket on it which you can reuse unless you break it like i did when i dropped mine. yes, they are breakable. be careful.

secondly, you only need bolts because you broke yours! how is that their fault?

no offense...every "tru bendz suck" thread the original poster ends up being made to look like an ass because thaey are ignorant on the subject and dont know how to install an exhaust system so they say it sucks or its not made right when it really is. maybe i should say my true dual system sucks because it took me pretty much an entire day (11 hrs or so) to fabricate. granted it was my first exhaust system and i had to have a friend do the welding...but it was done on a lift nice working in a garage
