I'm not sure how your dead pedal is laid out in the Cougar compared to our cars. You'll have to do some research on that one. If it does fit and you'd like one of my pedals I need your address info to confirm that you want one and a CHECK made out to me for $25.00 which covers S/H in the USA. I actually tried to get the pedal from the 2001 Cougars but it comes as an attached piece  real smart Ford! I do like the one in the Cougar but its not worth it to buy the whole carpet, you know what I'm sayin  Roger R
