In Illinois where I go to school, legal tint is 30% all around. Any darker tint than legal you can only have your back windows tinted and not the fronts. In Colorado legal tint is 27%, which is slightly darker. I have 20% all around, which is pretty damn dark in the back, but the fronts look much lighter because of the light let in by the windsheild. Also, depending on the color of your interior; light interior like my grey leather makes my tint look lighter. Dark Navy blue leather like those in some SVTs makes the tint look darker.
