I've been building cars for 30 years, wich means that I've blown alot of money that should of been spent other places. Do not let it consume you. If you can not afford it, get rid of it. Down the road after school and you are working and have your loans paid off and your other finacial comitments are met buy another SVT, you will be happier in the long run.
