Too far north. Augusta is my personal limit for day trips.

LOL. Too damn far away from everything. You going to come down to civilization and hang out with all of us ??

Just an update on the meet to everyone. For those i mentioned it to, my garage probly wont be done by then. Which is no big deal, just wont be able to show it off. Also i thought i would set up a cruise for all of us. The Kankamangus Highway isnt very far from me. About 30-40 minutes. For those who dont know its a nice windy road the cuts over the white mountains. PLenty of overlooks and photo spots. I was thinking we could take off for a few hours and go cruising.

We did the Kank at the last fall meet. Its a fun ride. There was a part that was under construction and was all dirt. It can be a fun ride if you don't get caught behind tourists! I'd be up for it again.

Maybe I'll actually do it in a Contour this time round
... a Subaru Forester just doesn't handle the curves quite as nicely ...

either that or just hop a ride in someone else's car.
I can't believe we didn't think to offer that up to you.

Well, anothere update....My fiance Rachel (who works at the marriott) searched from Portland to Portsmouth and the are no hotel rooms available at the discount rate. People are welcome to stay here if they like. I only own a small 2 bedroom ranch but i have floor space if you like, or most people when we have parties choose to pitch a tent in the yard. I have plenty of space and a few tents. The day of destruction event finishes up around 10 or so. Leaving a little early is an option. Gets kinda boreing near the end anyway. And the highway is right there for those wanting to head home. I know its a little early..but id like to get a rough estimate of who will try and come. I hope this works out. If there isnt much interest ill postpone to a later date.
