did mine too over a year ago with no problems. I used 20 lb fishing line to remove mine, it only took about 2 hours from start to finish. Use Meguires and Zaino products to clean it up with absolutly no clear coat problems...I had the car for over a year before I tried this mod. I was VERY nervous about doing it because I didn't want to screw up the paint but it was really no big deal. ANYWAY...here are some pics...
