Im doing a custom manual swap in my scort. The bolt holes on the bottom of my zx2 zetec windage tray does line up my 96 contour mtx75. Im trying to figure out for sure if the zetec focus windage tray will work, or will I have to locate a contour one? Its hard to find a manual contour zetec. If thats my only option is the atx windage tray the same as the mtx? Thanks for your guys time. I hope you dont mind a noob posting, and I did a search with no luck.

Edit
The bolt holes on the bottom of my zx2 zetec windage tray does NOT line up my 96 contour mtx75.
Anyone have any ideas, or someone I can contact?

I have a dead MTX zetec in my garage. I could get dimensions off the pan if you wish. I can provide pics also. PM me if you want them since I dont come in this forum often.

Im not using the mb5 becuase they can't take much torque. Im going to be running some boost in the future, im trying to get everything going in stock form. Well the computer wont know the differance from a mb5 to a mtx-75 as long as the speed sensors are the same, im not 100% sure.

Swap in a Focus Zetec? Had pretty cheap. Sounds easier to do than mating an MTX75 to your block.

Whats hard about it? It just takes time and little money. The windage tray bolts right on. Everything bolts together. I was wondering if the automatic contour windage tray is the same as the manual one. The only hard part is going to be the custom motor mounts but that is no big deal. Well and custom CV shafts but I can make them up at my dad's shop. I have some ats150 steel, just for that. Ats150 is 150,000kpsi, and stock is around 80,000kpsi tensile strength.

Everything on my engine is still stock ATX, with the exception of the wiring harness, flywheel, and crank position sensor.
