1) Yes you can put the in-dash DVD player in the stock position as long as the until "sticks out" from the opening. I had a Sony XAV-7W and it was flush with the mounting hole, so the screen didn't come out

2) I'm pretty sure there is no way to get visualizations for it, at least not that model. Or my model
