Hmmm...I'd have to think about that, though I'm not too sure the physical aspect of those activities is adequately influential.
considering the ties between sex and meditation (i.e. tantric sex, etc...), you shouldn't have to spend too much time thinking about it. not to mention that yoga is often very physically challenging, especially compared to the relatively low amount of physical exertion demonstrated in most physical encounters (particularly those of married couples). think about it.

Tony,
I agree that divorce isn't about religion and church. I was mainly trying to counteract those that were tying sex to the bible and church by saying that if they believe sexuality and their practices are formed by what they learn in church, that they should look that direction to learn about failures in their relationships too. Basically, if they only conceed to learning about sex from one direction, there is only one direction you can teach from aka- religion.

Done thinking about it. Just because Yoga is 'physically challenging' doesn't mean it fulfills a physical need. Regardless, to equate the power of yoga and meditation with sex is quite a joke.

If sex wasn't THAT important, then why is it, that when a couple get married, and the reception is overwith, the first thing they do is...... ????? If it weren't a big deal, couples would be waiting even longer for it. I'm not married, I don't "expect" sex from every girl I date, but it is an important part of a relationship. Mark

The one thing I hate most about sex in our society now is how cheapened it has become. . . .I mean really, it seems like people f$ck just for the act, not because they love each other, or whatever. . . .to me it's always been an act of love on some level, but it looks like the trend now, as I'm learning as a single man in his 20's, is to f$ck for f$ck's sake and move on, look for love later, if at all. . . .maybe I'm a little traditional like that, I don't care, or maybe I haven't been hurt enough to be indifferent enough about sex yet. . . .

i believe your statement was "Sex and sexual relationships are the ONLY activities that involve all three at the same time."
i replied that they were not.

So I could have made my argument easier to understand by saying that they are the only activities that concurrently fulfill the needs those dimensions create. I figured people such as yourself would be able to infer that.
