But, if church is meant to be fostering healthy marriages, then how would you propose church deals with the issue of divorce when it deals with sex, sexual disfunction, cheating, etc, etc. Considering our current divorce rate in the country, I don't want to hear how they're currently approaching it or have in the past because to me it's not working.

I agree they should not turn away from those issues. They should be dealt with a talked about, I agree. But what I was trying to say was for them to teach anything other than what the Bible says on those issues would not be a church I would attend.
