Just a simple question. When did sex become evil, wrong, secretive, terrible, etc etc etc. Why is everyone intent on shielding young people from it? Why does the church make it sacred and evil if committed (yea like a crime) before marriage?

The Church makes it sacred and evil because the Bible says it is only to be between and man and woman who are married to each other. Case closed. Thats what the Bible says and that is what most churches go by. It specifically says multiple times in the Bible that sex is not to be done before marriage or outside of marriage. It is called fornication.

Amen, preach on. While I must admit I had premarital sex, it was with the man I married.
I think people need to THINK about what they before they do it. I don't believe in sheilding youngsters from it, but explain that it should be saved until marriage.
As Corbett said, the church makes it seem like a crime because basically, according to the Bible, it IS a crime to have premarital sex, but then, everybody falls short of the grace of God. We will NEVER live up to God's standards. People are always going to lie, steal, murder, be vain, have premarital sex, cheat on their mates, and all that.
Honestly, the biggest commmandment people break all the time is the one that says THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.......how is this broken? Well, I guarantee you 95% of people will say they can live without God, but they can't live without money, thereby, placing money above God.
If you believe in God, honestly, HE will provide. You don't need to put the money before God cause I guarantee you, you believe, you do the right thing, you pray, God will provide you with what you NEED to make it through life.
Sorry, I am becoming Pastor Renee now or something.
