Well, today is my last day of high school EVER! It's kind of hard to be leaving but im anxious to see what the future holds for me.

Any other CEGers graduating this year? Plans after high school?

My graduation was a let down for me. Wasn't too exciting even though it was broadcast on TV and held at quite a nice place.

It's time to take the chosen path

Congrats ! But I hope that you aren't done with school. They say a Bachelor's degree is now what a High School diploma used to be, just the bare minimum to get by.

I do remember feeling like I had accomplished something. Congrats! Be safe !

Yeah, I graduate in a few hours here...would be cool if one of my friends didn't smash my quarter panel and cause $600 dollars worth of damage to it 'cause he's an a$$hole, and if my best friend didn't break his wrist today.

Although its been 35 years since I graduated, I remember it well. Although all my buddies were having beer parties around town, my parents insisted that I attend a "reception" they were having at the house, and everyone invited were their friends from church and Dad's job. There were people at MY graduation party that I didn't even know. I snuck down into the basement and watched TV, and nobody even missed me.

Note to parents......let your kids have some fun on their graduation from high school or college. As shocking as it is, they DON'T want to spend the memorable evening with you!

My parents did the same thing for my college graduation. My buddies and I bought a keg of beer and had a party planned at the lake. But my parents decided to had to take me out to eat first, and by the time I got to the party, everybody was drunk and passed out and the keg was empty. What a bust! Although I shouldn't sound so harsh on my parents, I wish they would have realized that graduation is for the GRADUATES, not the parents.

I remember the last day of senior year well ... the day the police had to escort us Millbury HS'ers out of Leicester (nearby town)

Man, the car used to be so shiny and purdy back then ...

i remember my last day...wow, 1999 seems like such a long time!!!

Didn't do anything special, had a family party at a catering hall and made a few grand.

Nothing felt as good as walking out of the auditorium, never to return! I hated my HS!
