hehe, I was thinking the same thing. Do I get this kit, or just wait until people replace their SVT kits with them, then SVT kits for cheap I think I'll go with this kit. Maybe tone down the fish gills a little.

I would still like to work out a way to keep the fender flares, however i don't like the idea of rolling my rear fenders because they are part of the main body structure and can't be easily replaced. I really would love to run a half-inch to an inch wider tire. I said this before, but if someone could find out the amount of movement, or the max size wheel/tire combination one could go use without rub, that would be great. that way i know how much room i have to play with in the wheel well... Looks like we are about half-way with the number of people we need... keep em coming...

Any SVT guys want to sell their original bumpers & skirts? I think it will help off set costs if you want to sell your OEM stuff to us "regular" guys. I would like to get the rear bumper and side skirts and get the front lip from Tuning Zubehor for my 96.

After looking at the saleen contour, it looks like the body kit without the fender flares wouldn't even look right. That kit isn't even that great of a design to begin with. Bret has taken a lot of initiative to get a project like this going, we should take advantage of this opportunity and come with some designs that we'd like to have on our cars. I remember about a month and a half ago, some CEG members did some cool things with photoshop with Contour ground fx. Perhaps that would be a good place to start.
Personally, I'm very interested in a body kit just not the saleen one. I'd like to see a nice clean kit that's mildly aggressive that wraps around the exhaust in the back.

Hey bret you know that to get it to work with the flares you would have to cut the body like this: I was looking and I can see the potential problem with the rear tire, by the door. Your more major problem will most likely be finding wheels. 4X108, 10 inches wide (assuming you go 2-3" flare, which I think you would need to make it practical). 17mm offset I think, still has to be in same offset direction as stock (ie mounting surface closer to outside of wheel than centerline)
