If you are going to this much effort anyway, disable the ignition by disconnecting the primay ignition wires (small wires on connector on coil pack) and have somewone turn the key and crank the engine as you pour fresh fluid into the resevoir to replace what is pumped out into your bucket. Have your assistant turn the steering wheel a bit while chanking as well and you would get a decent flush.
