I am going to place my 1998 Contour SVT for sale on ebay. I intend to sell it with a â??Buy Nowâ? of $5000. It is #2000 of 6535. If anyone is interested in checking it out before I put it on ebay, contact me at johnreece@aol.com and Iâ??ll email you pertinent facts and pictures to help in your decision. I am located near Talladega, Alabama.
Why am I selling my SVT? I am 72 years old and find that I no longer give my SVT the attention and respect it deserves. I keep it clean and well maintained, by-the-book, but seldom give it the exercise a younger, more appreciative owner would.
John

I, for one, commend you sir. You've chosen a fine car, and I am sad to see that it is going to go. I am glad that you enjoyed it, and even more so to hear that you were able to maintain it. It is sure to have had a nice life under your care. Be sure to stop in and chat a while, even without your SVT. We would all be lucky to pick up on some of the wisdom you could surely share.

Man, that is a steal of a deal. A perfectly owned CSVT for $5,000. You shouldn't have any problem selling it. Ray summed up just about everything one could say to you, and good luck in your future. What are your thoughts for a replacement?

I replaced my SVT with a 2005 ZX5 SES. The ZX5 and I have a mutual agreement; I don't expect a lot from it and it doesn't expect much from me. I still have my F250 Super Duty Crew Cab (Texas Towncar) Powerstroke to do all the heavy lifting.
Regards to all
