Thanks. Not to spend anymore than I did, and keeping it pretty basic, I couldn't believe how clean and powerful it ended up being.
I'd lose if I started a p*ssing contest around here, but I personally have never came across a better sounding system.

It's a good budget option.

Because 2 or 3 people on this thread claimed it was cheaper to buy a sub/amp/box, instead of buying the Infinity Bass Link?

I'm thinking of getting ridof my box with a 10" and just putting a free air in the decklid in the existing cut out. I like the bass I have now, but the box is too heavy especially seeing as it is bolted down and I auto-x the car.
Dave, what's your opinion on a good free air 8" or 10" to use on the rear deck?
I'm thinking that my MTX 10" Thunder SVC is probably not suitable for that application.

For the price and ease of install, it doesn't sound bad. Therefore, it's a good budget option.

No.. it won't work correctly, the MTX SVC is not a free air sub. Infinty's 10.1 Refrence sub (less than 200 watts) is the only new sub that I know of that has infinite baffle capabilitys (free air). Crutchfield has it on sale for 179.00. I've been tempted to pick one up and mount it in said location.

Yeah, I only paid $299.00 for it - and I just made a couple of adjustments on it (the installer didn't tune it). It made a big difference.
