Yes, like everyone says, power the front speakers with your new amp. The rear door speaker position sucks badly and will cause your "sound stage" to be unbalanced. My front door speakers and two tweaters are powered (125 watts each) and the rears are just hooked up to run off the HU's amp (actually, I have it the balance set to near front) The ONLY scenario that works with powering the rears over the front is if you have REAR DECKLID speakers (like Grand Prix's, etc). Because the sound is produced above your head and to the rear of your ears, it completes the harmonics of the speakers much better= soround sound. Rear door speakers (especially in the position in the contours/mystique) are near worthless in improving your music sound and quality, they only help for the rear passengers. And if you are like many people, I rarely have people in my car, and even if I do... screw them, I want the music to sound the best for ME.
