The heater blows hot air still and the engine does not appear to be overheating, in part due to my diligence in keeping the cooling system full. I know that it is not condensation from my ac because my ac does not work at the present time and it of course has the lovely colour that is distinctive of automotive coolant. I obtained possession of the car at 132000 kms and so would assume that if the impeller on the water pump was going to go it would have done so already, but I do not know for sure, I am just having a little trouble adding things up here and I would appreciate a little help.

Anyways, I would start by checking your Water pump. Could be leaking from there. If not, its possible a hose has cracked or has been damaged. This is one of those "can't really tell you unless we are there" type of problems. Your best thing is to just run the car, and look carefully using a flashlight, etc. Is it A LOT of fluid coming out, of just drips?
