Had my meeting with the appraiser today.
Basically he told me I'm pretty SOL for the mods ... if I had my vehicle appraised (which I will now do yearly) then it could have been rated as an SVT !!!
Now my insurer never told me to do this, just told me to keep the invoices, so I'm happy that I learned this. I'd recommend getting this done so you don't get stung like I did.
As it wasn't appraised, he added a little cash in for me. Total is now nearly $ 7,000 which is not too bad in my opinion, but I surely wish I could have done better.
