I seem to have different. The insurance company are only interested in the value. If I have mods & upgrades, then I can count the cost of the invoices to be pro-rated for a value. The vehicle appraiser (seperate to insurance company) is going to get together with me sometime this week to go through my invoices and arrive at a pro-rated add-on value.
Seeing as everything is bolt on, then I should be okay. If I had done 'custom' work, then yes I may need to show it in the policy, but the likes of SVT UIM/LIM, Suspension, Exhaust, Filters and so forth are bolt-ons and not custom work.
Bottom line, the insurance company are extremely interested in the cost of my mods to add to my pay-out (never thought I'd say that!).

At the moment, I'm due a $6,600 pay-out, plus GST/PST. Hopefully I can raise that up closer to the $8,000-$8,000 mark ... with a GREAT deal of luck. I'm relatively happy though as we got the car for around $7,500 three years ago, and I've added some 70k to the clock since then.
