Ok, sorry in advance about the long post. So it has been about a week since this happened but here is the story. I took my car up to Bandamere Speedway for test and tune. This is a 1998.5 SVT. People started lining up for the drags so I got my car in line early because I wanted to get as many runs in as possible, but little did I think about how sticky the track is for about the first 10 - 15 runners. I got to the line and did not warm up the tires because I figured it isn't good to do burns in an SVT. I got to the line, held the car at about 2500 - 2600 RPM's and the light turned green and I let off the clutch and I felt just a slight pop (not a big jolt, not a loud pop) and the car didn't move an inch. I could have it in any gear, reverse through 5th, and have the clutch out hit the gas and the car would sit there and just rev up. It is leaking transmission fluid at the moment. Any ideas what could be wrong? I'm already suspecting a blown transmission, i've had a few people tell me that it may be the clutch or the differential. Thanks for the help!
