I agree with what James said about speeds. When I had to use my "regular" Sandisk in my Rebel XT it was MUCH slower than the 80x Lexar I bought.
1GB should be more than enough, unless you plan on being away from a computer for a long time (like a few weeks backpacking or something like that) even then I would just get 2x1GB cards. I have an 8MP DSLR and even on the highest JPEG setting I have about 255 shots on a blank card.
That kingston card you are looking at isn't bad, but I would look for something faster like the Sandisk ultraII there for 80 something.
