Alright, well I've ruled out the "moosing" from the IAC because this weird whistling sound only occurs during acceleration and not at idle. I can't hear the whistling when I'm sitting in the passenger seat but it's pretty loud on the drivers side...any ideas?

I take it you have a cone air filter on your air intake now? Most whistling noises show up after the stock filter box assy is pulled an an open air element filter is put on. The whistling is the air past the throttlebody plate at certain cruise conditions. If this is your whistling then you can do nothing about it other than baffle the intake again or start making changes to the throttlebody.
