Do you want an explanation?
Swtiching out the TB was more than what it sounded. This was important because 1) The car barely idled 2) Since the Focus TB and Contour TB are different I switched throttle cables(with the Focus cable I wasn't able to go WOT)
The heatshield was important because anybody with a N/A Duratec or Zetec with an open air filter knows....once it gets hot under the hood the performance sucks.....even more so with the S/C. With it cool outside I can hit 9psi.....with it hot it is between 6-7 psi.....now I am at 7-8 psi with the heatshield.
In addition to the 2 points Kevin brought up.....I have redone almost all of my exhaust since then. My exhaust was screwed up to say the least. Now it is all 2.5" downpipe back. In certain points of my exhaust it went from 2" to 2.25" to 2.5".....and as most people know that is not good for performance.
And where are you getting 9/10s of a second......I ran a 16.7 the last time.

I'm sorry.. I don't know if that was directed AT me, or you just replied to another post in the same post as your answers to me.
I have no idea who "my buddy" is supposed to be, but I'd prefer that I don't get dragged in to this whole schpiel...
Whatever beef you guys HAD, HAVE, or DON'T HAVE, is fine.. I just asked that ALL of you guys stop cursing, etc.

Yes, I shall swap it out with the money I don't have for the daily driver I'd probably screw up if it were manual. Sheesh! Gimme a Race-Car-Only Contour and I'll be on the mtx bandwagon
