i still think he will break into the 15s?
i guarantee his car pulls harder than mine did when it was pretty much bone stock (KKM and superchip)
my car was knocking on 15s door back then. 16.3 @ 91 with heavy ass 17s and falken azenis (accually bogged my engine down)
granted his low end torque leaves some to be desired, up top his car pulls harder than my near stock duratec could have
when you hit the track...put on 14" steelies!! empty your trunk and you'll be good to go!!!

Thanks that was what I was planning. By the time I hit the track I will be running more boost and have some cooling. Cooling by itself has added 10-15 at the wheels on the Focus with the same setup.

ever thought about modding your atx? the shiftkit and sonnax valves make it shift noticably better, and a high stall torque converter would fit your setup nicely....just dont go with the no-name company i did!
or better yet...swap to mtx you wont regret it!!

I think Kevin had a lot of humor in what he was saying at first, I don't think he intended to hurt anyones feelings.
As people have stated about Hectors car, I have horrible low end torque and I need a program tune very badly. So I know how it feels to get burned more than often, but then again I never pursue into illegal activities (a la reaching the governor)
Can't wait to see that gone, too

thank god the negative people decided to go somewhere else. It is pretty sad when someone knocks on someone even though that person they are knocking on have done much more for the group here and have attempted things no one else have even dared to take on.

Glad to hear that you guys got that straightened out!
I hope you do run 15's and I think the car is capable of it.
Heck, if my near stock (just an optimized TB) V6 ATX can run a 16.4... A boosted Zetec should easily beat that.

Dude, All Kevin did was state the obvious. Switching out a throttle body and adding a heat shield will not lose you 9/10ths of a second. No one said Hector will never be there, just he ain't there yet.

Bad day or not(Kev), 15's or not(Hector), friends or not (all others involved), the "bending" of the rules is getting a little old. Isn't there ANY way all of you guys can state your opinions (no matter how heated they are) without the swearing and personal type stuff??
