I just finished my new leather shift boot(I had cheap ass vinyl on mine) and I just cannot figure out how the reverse lock-out can remain functionnal with the MOMO knob. Is there a part I must leave out? I would not like to leave the set screws exposed. With the trim ring, it just does not seem to fit...

If your Momo has a trim ring, you have the wrong model. The correct model, availbe from KKM, has a recess to accomodate the lift-up reverse.

Oh. I'll try to exchange it then. Or keep it. I never liked the feel of the reverse lockout anyway.
Anybody know the correct model from MOMO?

Just get rid of that stupid lockout feature. I plan on getting a new shift knob soon...a tall one and ditching the lockout.

Does anyone out there know the part or model number for the MOMO knob that will accept the reverse lock-out. I would like to keep the lock-out function and like the look and feel of the MOMO. THANKS for any help.
FRANK.

Mangler, Yes I'm sure that's the one for our cars. I've seen pictures of it on other contours, Thanks for the link. I've tried looking for it on the MOMO site but came up with the standard knob, now at least I know what part I'm looking for.I have gone to performance shops and was always told that MOMO doesn't make one for our cars. If anyone knows a shop in the Toronto (or anywhere in Canada)area where I might be able to get a MOMO race "S" shift knob please post. THANKS.

I live in Montreal, and I probably can get it fairly cheap. (I expect the price should be around 86$ canadian, tax in.)
I will let you know if they will order it in about a week.
