The whining I'm hearing about a couple of Korans being abused by some dipsh!t Private in the Army smacks of stupidity at it's finest, especially since the abuse that the Bible and Christian imagery takes in this country is considered an artform...
I find any abuse of most any religious icons or literature ignorant and disgusting to say the least, but only slightly less disgusting than those that are trying to prop up some consipracy theory or organized Western attack on Islam though actions like this and then use it as political collateral against the current administration.
Somewhere at some time I'm sure there was a Koran or two abused in front of a couple of prisoners by a few rather dull-witted soldiers. Fine; nail their hides to the wall, make an example of them, etc., etc.
Of course, if we were like the REST of the world, they wouldn't have access to the Korans in the first bloody place, would they?
