No 2 yr old I know actually KNOWS what shopping is and will hold a conversation with an adult about it

what a bunch of idiots. take responsibility for your actions and stop blaming auto makers for making cars that are too big. they were aware of the installed safety equipment before purchase, were they not?

This country is getting me so frusterated!!!  Why cant people take responsiblity for their own actions? I would imageine it would be difficult to run over a 2 year old. I have a hard to rolling over a 1 3/4in pvc pipe in my garage. That dad most have been going very fast to go over her before being able to stop. My dad has an SUV he has manged to never hit anyone, or anything. We pull our 23ft boat with our SUV, and we still havnt hit anyone or anything. Now Thats a blind spot for you. I would consider all of our contours fairly blind spot free, as in we have an almost unblocked 360 veiw around us. If the dad was in a contour, would he have seen here then? I doubt it. Hope they lose their case, and are able to forgive them selves for killing their daughter.

As the hours went on, the most horrifying and worst nightmare a parent can ever possibly imagine happened. In less than a moment, I looked down and my precious daughter was gone
now that should say it all folks. What parent doesnt know where there 2 year old is every five minutes, let alone every hour? Seems like this ditz of a woman was watching tv or doing something more important than watching her two year old. Have these parents never heard of those little gates to block areas of the house off? Id say it was only a matter of time before this poor child suffered by falling down some stairs or burning themselves on a hot stove. Hope this serves as a reminder to the CEG community to know where your little ones are at all times, not every hour. oh and yeah im sure a mother and her TWO year old can sure relate to "shopping" GARBAGE!

October 9, 2004 started out as a normal Saturday morning in our home. My son had a few friends upstairs that had stayed over night to celebrate his 7th birthday. I mean come on here, my mom drives a Ford Escape drives it pretty good can't back it up worth a crap, this thing even has the backup sensors on it. Heck my mom even has the sense to know what is behind her she makes damn sure she is clear before she backs a vehicle up.
When I was a kid playing outside or when we were leaving my dad ALWAYS had me stand off to the side when he was backing the car out of the garage and told me not to move until he told me to.
Stupid parents these people should have their other kid taken away and be banned from having more children.
