wow. next someone will be suing to require auto-makers to install breathalyzers in all vehicles
operating a vehicle is a big responsibility and can be dangerous. hence the push to increase the minimum age requirement. maybe we should all just walk since we can't make these damn things 100% fool proof safe.

this is clearly the driver's fault.
A. he is backing up a vehicle that has horrible rear view for the area below the rear window (although with a 2 year old this would be basically
any car.)
B. a two year old child is walking in the driveway unsupervised, apparently. this information does not tell us if he heard a "thump" and kept backing up, although it is presumed. if his wife was watching the kid while he is leaving for work then it is clearly her fault for allowing the kid to walk behind the vehicle while the guy is trying to leave (if he didnt hear a noise).
either way, theyre BOTH at fault, not Nissan. this is just ridiculous. i am ashamed that some lawyer would take this case in hopes of the big payday. he cant honestly say that he is taking it because he wants to better society as a result. hell, the guy could have had a rear view camera and
still ran the poor kid over.
this
is just a prime example of people not taking responsibility for their own actions. its a shame too because this is something so tragic that could have been easily avoided.
fwiw, there are millions of people driving big trucks with absolutely no visibility as to what is RIGHT behind them and only two feet tall, or taller. if it was really
that dangerous, hundreds of people would be run over every day to the point where it would be illegal to not have the rear of the vehicle made completely out of glass. why
aren't many people run over like this daily then you ask?? because most people who take on the responsibility to drive a vehicle like this are
careful .
