divx didn't work for me either.....

then click:

ELECARD MPEG 2 Video Decoder Package release 2.0, download it, then go start, programs, elecard..., components manager, then choose the defaults.....restart and walla...

at first I opened Windows Media Player and it kept freezing up......shut down/restart whatever....after that it's working slick as snot.....

try that...just restart it......
