This my first attempt working with an engine..more than usual oil changes. Did UIM/LIM rebuild cleaning. Cleaned IAC. Replaced all gaskets including 0-rings, I only get 10 o-ring in the pack, able to change 5 injectors o-ring.
Put everything back and I can startup the engine. It can not idle at 750 rpm. I have to hold on to the gas pedal, once remove my foot from gas pedal, engine cut off imediate.
While I am holding the gas pedal, engine sound smooth, except the injector click noise a bit loud and noticeable.
I tried to smell if there is any gas leak, doesn't seems there is any gas leak.
What's wrong? any suggestion? Please help...

If you got any crap down into the combustion chamber it may be burning off. When i cleaned mine it ran rough at first but cleared up after a few minutes. Are sure everything is tight? Did you use new gaskets?

Yes, all new lim/uim gaskets. I tried already running the engine for few minutes. Engine stall after taking my foot off the gas pedel.

I am thinking 2 possible problems. IAC stuck close or the fuel vavle.
1, If the IAC stuck close, how can I test IAC is working or not? can I take the IAC out and start the engine?
2, unscrew the fuel valve cap and tried release the pressure,no gas comes out from the valve. Screw the plastic cap back. Any simple test for fuel pressure?
Any other thing I should check?

Did you plug in the IAC and TPI connectors?

took out the IAC number of times, clean. spray some oil. Tested, results is the same no idle...need to hold on the gas pedal. Finally it idle at 500 rpm. Took the IAC again.. test with wire tap into 12 volt and I hear it click but the thing not inside not moving at all. I am not sure how much the rubber should move. Put it back and started the car, leave it idle rough at 500 rpm, pulled the hose and put my finger and feel it only have small suction. Finally, started million of time and finally the check engine light report P1507, IAC error. Definitely need a new IAC. Dealer quote that small ungly IAC for $151 cdn. Anyone have a used one?
On top of it I see the IMRC linkage grommets is loose, the metal bar keep slipping out of the of plastic hole. It has been nightmare after the UIM/LIM cleaning.
Is IAC (by wells) offer at autozone is good, I may just cross the border to get one at $39us.
