Regarding tinkering: I'm more of a computer tinkerer than a car tinkerer myself. However, after all this time, PCs are starting to loose their appeal, and my busted car is calling to me to learn more about it, a piece at a time.
On the PC side: I run Windows, Mac OS X and Linux systems, and am well versed and have been troubleshooting and repairing them for a living for a while now. If anyone in the greater New Haven, CT area is interested in learning how to run their Windows PCs securely (removing and preventing spyware, etc.), or switching to Linux, feel free to PM me.
Also, anyone familiar with integrating their 'Tour with PC technology (passenger seat laptops, or whatever) feel free to drop me a line. I'm intetested in seeing how I can merge a technology I'm familiar with ('puters) with one I'm willing to admit I'm a noob at (my car).
