Pre 98, as in a date before 1998, which matches your car's date , means you have pre 98 lights. See RogerB's post above about the button-like things that are the vent holes on the pre 98s.

Thanks for actually answering the question asked! Now, as asked a few days ago, does anybody have or can anybody take a picture of those "button-like things?"

On my 95 mystique, the headlight fogged because the o-ring seals around the bulbs were not clamped snugly, had to tighten (bend) the ring fasteners tabs, and the button vent cap had fallen off but I found it and reattached it. If I remember right, the button was on the bottom. Been dry ever since!
