haha it seems like we need to have a get together. Im down for whatever weekend. I need ideas on mods and want to see what you people have done. Also how much did most of you pay for your 3L im finding them around 1800 is that to much?

is that just for the block? already prepped? I got my block for about $700, All in all it cost me a few grand for everything, and that includes transmission parts and stuff. you can take a look at it when ever we meet, it puts out 202 according to the dyno.

Johnny had Robert (whos on the boards) do it at his shop...but there were some "problems" that i will let him explain if he wishes.


I did mine myself in my Grandmothers garage with the help of Norcalcoug and our friend Elliott.


17000 miles and it still runs strong.

sounds like this meet should be at a track, if yall want to meet at my shop id be down to throw a BBq, im conveniently located on the way to sears point and sac race way, there also happens to be some straight roads near the shop "for cruising".

jhonnys problems were a result of a guy i hired to help me at work wo talked a good game but didn't know jack and made some engine assembly erors,but johhnys car is running and put down the most HP at the last dyno meet, i also told jonny if his engine ever blows i will do another swap for him for "free" since then i have completed 7 3.0 swaps both hybrid and oval port all running fine with no problems i can provide references if needed.all work is warranty
i also do paint and body,suspension,every thing.

P.S. my car is still runnin a bit off but still seems to pull ok, I think its the injectors, and pump not working with the computer.

Does anyone have a OBD code reader I can borrow for a minute to pull the code for my CEL? I have a 20 dollar off coupon for a place in Campbell, but it will still cost me 30 bucks for a 30 minute run (50 bucks without the coupon). Heck! That is a tank of gas! I'm willing to buy lunch or something for the favor. Thanks!
